How To Delete A Plan In Planner

How to delete a plan from Planner in Microsoft 365 in 4 easy steps:

First login to https://tasks.office.com and click on ‘Planner Hub’.

Scroll down and then click ‘All Plans’.

Click on the plan you wish to delete.

Now click the three dots along the top and click on ‘Plan settings’.

Now click on ‘Delete this plan’. If you don’t see this it means you did not create this plan or are not an owner of the plan. You will need to find the owner and ask them to delete it.

Finally tick the box and press ‘Delete’.

Congratulations you deleted a plan!

  4. If this was made in connection with a MS Teams group. The person has to be an OWNER in the MS teams group. Even if they created the Plan as a member, they cannot delete the plan they created as only a member.
